Annual Happenings
Guernsey and the surrounding area is host to several annual celebrations and happenings. Look forward to these fun events and plan your vacation to include one or more of these! Come enjoy the summer with us.
Concerts in the Park
We invite fabulous musicians to share their talents on stage in the beautiful setting of Davis Park. Plans are already underway for a terrific 2015 concert season with a variety of music styles for everyone to enjoy. Watch for the concert dates to be posted soon.
Movies in the Park
It's not the drive-in, but on a beautiful summer night at dusk, it is even better. You can watch some of your favorite movies in the park. Plans are in place to choose the 2015 movies right after the first of the year. Keep an eye out for next year's movies.

4th of July
Lots of fun planned this year! The free pancake breakfast starts the day with the parade following. A classic car show, vendors in the park and free swimming make for a great afternoon. The evening concert will be Todd Dereemer and his band followed by fireworks. Plan to come to Guernsey and celebrate the Fourth of July.
Duck Daze - August 22, 2015
1000 Ducks will be dashing down the North Platte River, but only 3 will win. Our annual fundraiser also includes a 5k Duck Dash, a Local Artist Show and the Duck Daze Beer Fest.
Community Garage Sales Planned for June 21th
The Community Garage Sale will be held on June 20th with a start time of 8:00 A.M. If you want to be part of the sales, contact Mary at Town Hall (836-2335) to register. You will be included in the garage sale map given out the morning of the garage sales in the local restaurants.

The Community Garage sales usually has about 25 garage sales that day. Come out and get a great deal or two or even better, plan to have your garage sale that day and be a part of the Community Garage Sale.
Treat Street and Trunk or Treat
Guernsey always has a good time on Halloween. The downtown merchants get ready for Trick or Treaters and some of the community get in the act setting
